Cancellation Policy: If
you book more than 61 days in advance of a trip, Batstar
will gladly refund your entire deposit or full payment
if you contact us within 48 hours of booking. You can call us but cancellation must be in writing. You can email or fax us: (866) 558-2200.
A full refund 61 days in advance of the trip departure date less a $300CAN
($300USD) cancellation fee per spot booked;1/2 refund 31-60 days; no refund
0-30 days. If you cancel your trip and are entitled to a refund, we will refund
your paid amount less the cancellation fee. Your refund will be sent to you
or issued on the credit card that you used to book your trip within 90 days
of cancellation.
You must contact us by mail, fax or e-mail if you cancel a trip. Receipt of your cancellation must be confirmed by Batstar by mail, fax or e-mail.
If you book another Batstar trip for the 2011 or 2012 season, Batstar will
put your cancellation fee towards this trip. If you cancel within 60 days of
departure, only the cancellation fee will be used toward another Batstar trip
in the 2011/2012 season.
Please note that there are
no exceptions to our cancellation policy.

Trip Cancellation Insurance:
Batstar strongly encourages
guests to consider purchasing trip cancellation and
medical insurance.
Note: you will be required
to sign a release and fill out a medical form before
departing on the trip. In the waiver you must initial that you understand and agree to our trip cancellation policy.
Batstar reserves the right
to cancel any trip with 60 days notice if there are
fewer than 4 bookings for it. Guests have the option
to transfer to another trip or receive a full refund
(no administration fee). Batstar is not responsible
for expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled
trips, such as transportation or accommodation. This
being stated, Batstar has never cancelled a trip due to small group size.
